Description

Skin Needling involves using a hand operated cylindrical roller studded with rows of short micro needles, that rotates around an axle attached to a handle.  The roller is applied to the face, neck, decollatage or any other body area and creates micro channels through the surface of the skin.  These tiny punctures in the skin encourage a natural skin reaction [inflamatory response] where tiny electrical signals are released.  This creates a biological chain of events where essential minerals, proteins and vitamins stimulate new collagen and elastin fibres in the dermis of the skin.

Skin Needling is designed as a simple manual treatment for:  Collagen Induction Therapy, [CIT], Pharmaceutical or Cosmetic Product Infusion, Pigmentation reduction, Sun Damage, Wrinkles, Enlarged Pores, Acne, Scarring, Stretch Marks and many more conditions.

The Skin Needling rollers have needles of varying sizes, very small needles for home maintenance use, and longer ones which penetrate deeper and obviously have greater effect.  The longer needle rollers are used for clinic treatments only.

Home Treatments - Skin Needling can be used 2 to 3 times a week at home to begin with, then more frequently if required.  The device is re-used [on the one person only] with weekly cleaning in a special solution.  Appropriate skin care is applied immediately after the treatment.  Each home roller device can be re-used for apprximately 6 months before replacement is required.

Clinic Treatments - Our skin therapists will advise on the appropriate treatment program based on your skin condition.  These treatments are usually performed at 6 weekly intervals.  We will apply appropriate active products to the skin following a clinic treatment, and correct home care products are essential for maintaining maximum results.

Skin needling is a simple procedure that offers impressive results.  A single treatment can be performed but a series of 4 to 6 clinic treatments are recommended for best results.  The treatment should incorporate vitamin infusion and vitamin home care is essential for maximum effect.
